• We keep hearing so many things about your new album. When is it going to finally come out in North America and what’s going to be on the album?

PSY: I’m [currently] working on it and it’s going to be coming out in late September. You’re going to have the full-length album. You’re going to see a lot of familiar celebrities working together with me. It’s going to be my seventh album in Korea and my debut album in North America. width:320;;height:480

 • What’s a memorable moment with a fan that really stands out to you?

MARIANAS TRENCH
Josh Ramsay: I remember one time a fan made a voodoo doll of me and they cut off their own hair and put it on the doll. That was not a good day. width:640;;height:427
 • Ian Casselman: It wasn’t necessarily a voodoo doll, but it ended up looking like one. She meant it in a nice way,
Josh: Well, either way I buried it and nobody knows the location. width:640;;height:427
 • Matt Webb: You know lately for whatever reason we’ve been getting these fan scrapbooks and these people have obviously put days and days of effort into putting these things together for us. They’re generally photos of us over a period of time, playing shows and things like that, but it’s so touching to see these things. People are going way out their way to give this stuff to us and it’s so cool, it’s stuff that we take home and keep with us. width:640;;height:427
 • Josh: What was really cool for me on the last tour was somebody actually—because our record Ever After was sort of a fairytale concept—had illustrated an entire graphic novel to the story that we had written and it looked like us, it probably took her months, it was an amazing thing to see. width:320;;height:480

 • Did you watch the 1985 film Teen Wolf to prepare for your role as a werewolf?

Tyler Hoechlin: We actually got together as the main cast, our producer and writers and we watched it. It was this kind of bonding thing, just to see where we’re coming from. But anyone who’s seen the show can say it’s nothing like the movie. We pay tribute to it, when we can, which is always fun to do, but outside of that everything is so different. In the first season we really compared Scott and Derek to Neo and Morpheous, it was kind of like that master and apprentice kind of relationship. Those were the kind of things I studied going into it. width:320;;height:480

 • You have an album coming out soon. What is it that made you want to pursue music as a career?

Lucy Hale: Music is what brought me out to California originally. And people just suggested that I start auditioning for things like Hannah Montana and High School Musical, so I did, and was like, “Oh this is kind of fun, I kind of enjoy it.” And then I sort of fell in love with acting overnight and it just happens that I found luck in that area first. But this past year, I’ve been working on my album, so it’s nice to get back to it. Music is my first love and it will always be my first love. We’re thinking late fall release for the album, so I’m really excited to share it with you. width:320;;height:480

 • What’s up with Mona being back in the PLL fold? Are you trusting her now?

Shay Mitchell: I honestly have to say that was something that was hard getting used to, because even walking into set and seeing her in the bathroom and none of the girls were staring her down. I’m like, “Oh so you’re with the crew now, okay.” You know it was like a very interesting startle, her coming in; she’s sort of like a pretty little liar herself now. width:640;;height:427
 • But yeah I think some of the girls are kind of on her side, but I think for my character speaking, she won’t ever trust Mona. When I think of Hannah, obviously she kind of dabbles back and forth, because of course they had a relationship that was really strong before, but even if the girls wanna give her the benefit of the doubt, I just don’t think it’s going to happen. width:320;;height:480
 • What are your favourite memories of MuchMusic?

BILLY TALENT
Ben Kowalewicz: Power Hour with Teresa Roncon
Jon Gallant: And when Weird Al would take over. width:640;;height:427
 • Ben: Going Coastal! Nardwuar, who’s still on, but I love Nardwuar. I mean MuchMusic was a huge thing for us. I remember watching The Wedge, watching “that wacky videos” and seeing a lot of bands like watching The Pixies. width:640;;height:427
 • What’s it like making a comeback after almost 20 years?

Trevor Guthrie: You know somebody quoted on Twitter that I’m the Canadian Cinderella man and I read that and was like, “Yeah, that makes sense. If you ever watched Cinderella Man, I can draw parallel to it. Not as bad as James Broddock, but I’m 40, and the odds of doing this again and getting a second chance, I thought it would never happen. width:640;;height:427

 • What can fans do that are going through a rough time maybe similar to [what you’ve experienced]?

Serena Ryder: I think the key with going through rough points in your life is to realize that they’re rough points in your life. You don’t define yourself by those points that you’re going through. For me what was really really big was celebrating the things that I loved in life. It was very key to remember what I loved instead of what I didn’t love. I feel like music is the way back to yourself always. So turn on your favourite song, dance and life does get better. width:320;;height:480

 • Is there anything in particular that inspired your outfit for today for onstage?
Avril Lavigne: When I’m on stage I like to wear flats. But I really like black, I like studs and spikes. It’s really all about being comfortable for me and just kind of figuring out what your style is. And with fashion it’s all about expressing yourself and I get to do that.
width:320;;height:480

 • What advice would you have for staying classy, when you have to face negative feedback?

Classified: You’re always going to get negative feedback. It doesn’t matter what you talk about: whether it’s a movie, a song, a person. If you really want to pinpoint something you can. So there’s always going to be someone hating on you. It doesn’t matter what you do. As soon as you get to the point where you accept that, then you live a lot happier. width:640;;height:427

 • [At the Faze cover shoot] you said it was your first cover shoot. Are you more comfortable being in that type of atmosphere with all the photographers and what not?

Ed Sheeran: No, never. And I always thought it was just me, but it seems like every single artist hates getting their picture taken. I think it’s just abnormal to stand still for quite a long amount of time and smile isn’t it? Usually when you get your picture taken you’re at a party with friends. But to kind of stand there and look awkward, I don’t think it’s just me. That was actually one of the very few covers I’ve done. I’ve done like three in my history.
width:640;;height:377
