“Tomorrowland” Is A Secret Place Where Nothing Is Impossible

In a world plagued with war, famine, disease, poverty and natural disasters, harbouring negative thoughts towards our future isn’t uncommon. The end of the world is near and there’s nothing you can do to change that. Well, Disney is crashing your pity party to offer a simple solution: having hope.

Tomorrowland, Disney’s soon-to-be box office hit, gives its audience a refreshing message to stay optimistic and it does so with a captivating plot, brilliant cast, breathtaking special effects and an incredible soundtrack. Needless to say, I loved this movie!

One of my favourite parts of watching Tomorrowland was discovering the plot. The trailers don’t really elude to any storyline so watching everything unravel with no former knowledge was really fun. That being said, I’m not going to tell you anything about the plot this time around.

However I will tell you that every single cast member blew me away. George Clooney was amazing (duh) as grumpy Frank Walker and Thomas Robinson did a great job playing the younger, wide-eyed version of Clooney’s character. Then there was Britt Robertson who made the character of Casey Newton witty, likeable and a great role model for girls everywhere.

But the actress who deserves the most credit is thirteen year old Raffey Cassidy who played Tomorrowland recruiter Athena. The freckle-faced, British actress managed to hold her own in scenes with big names like George Clooney and Hugh Laurie. I was very impressed by Raffey’s performance and am confident that we’ll be seeing more of her.

The Rundown:

Action: Tomorrowland is filled with a plethora of scenes that features villains getting the ol’ one-two.

Whimsy: I spent most of my time staring at the screen in wonder–Tomorrowland was just so darn cool.

Comedy: The one liners are laugh out loud funny.

Tomorrowland is out in theaters now! Check out the official movie trailer:
