MAY 2006
May 7-Some of the Faze team ran in the Sporting Life 10K run in Toronto, congrats to Denise, Lorraine and Paul.
May 3-The Faze girls were at a special fashion show put on by Nike Canada featuring a wide range of their clothing and accessories for the Fall season.
APRIL 2006
Apr 27-30-The World Squash Doubles Championships were played in Toronto this week and Faze's own Paul made us proud, making it all the way to semi-finals, where he lost a very close and exciting match 3-2.
Apr 26-An evening with Isaac Mizrahi, the flamboyant New York designer, who is now being brought to the masses in Canada through Fairweather.
Apr 20-This time it's off to the AVEDA College salon for Alana and Lorraine to have their meticulously trained students again show us their hair cutting magic.
Apr 13-THE SUMMER STYLE PHOTOSHOOT! Takes place with the jungles of the Rainforest Cafe as the backdrop, the best we could do to find summer at this time of year in Toronto :-) Some fun pics from the shoot up online soon.
Apr 12-Lots of running around for the Summer photoshoot tomorrow! Plus...some lucky staff had haircuts done by very talented stylists-in-training at the Aveda College in Toronto.
Apr 11-Lorraine and Kelly checked out the Goo Goo Dolls in concert and then went over to check out a late night recording session for a new Canadian artist.
Apr 10-Lorraine interviews the Goo Goo Dolls in Toronto.
Apr 3-Lorraine is a guest for an entire hour of TV's Goldhawk Live talkshow in an episode dealing with all-age nightclubs in the aftermath of a stabbing at a Toronto club (12y.o. girl stabbed another 12y.o. girl).
MARCH 2006
Mar 20-Have a behind the scenes look at the Faze photoshoot for the Spring cover featuring the stars of Falcon Beach, Steve Byers and Jennifer Kydd. Win a chance to get out for an evening with these two hot stars! Details coming in the Spring issue out soon!
Mar 17-The Faze girls were out checking out tropical jungle locations (in Toronto!) for our Summer photoshoot.
Mar 17-Happy St. Pat's day, particularly if you're Irish.
Mar 16-Faze interview with The Veronicas, the twins from Australia. After attending a bunch of Toronto Fashion Week events some of the Faze gang went to check them out in concert.
Mar 16-A couple of new film reviews up online, She's The Man and V for Vendetta here.
Mar 15-Dozen of lucky winners across the country won special advance screening passes to the launch of the new Amanda Bynes movie She's The Man, courtesy of Faze and Dreamworks.
Mar 13-Toronto Fashion Week has kicked into full gear with the Faze girls out at a bunch of events all week long.
Mar 13-Jayne checked out the screening for V for Vendetta, very powerful film, done by the Matrix guys.
Mar 12-The tech/games/gear section has been freshly updated with a bunch of new reviews.

Mar 1-Our Editor Denise is off to PARIS!!!! for the weekend. Wow...have a wild time! Hoping for some pics...
Mar 1-Lorraine and Paul checked out the opening of Kai, the latest lounge/club launched by young entrepreneur Travis Agresti, whose other club Inside, which he started at age 19, attracts the likes of Vince Carter (now a part owner), Tyra Banks, Mark Wahlberg, Nelly Furtado, Prince.Mar 1-It was back to school for Faze founder Lorraine as a guest speaker for a course in the Ryerson University magazine publishing programme, which Lorraine had graduated from herself a few years ago.
FEBRUARY 2006
Feb 28-Alana and Jayne from Faze were at the nomination party for the Gemini Awards (i.e. Canadian Television award show). Jayne was definitely the best person to send as she is an actress herself, even starring in a short movie that ran last year in the Toronto Film Festival!
Feb 26-Check out a new Faze supported contest being put on by Maxell Canada. Win a pair concert tickets to see Canadian Idols Melissa O'Neill and Rex Goudie and meet them backstage and more goodies.

Feb 25-So the Olympics are over and Canada won the most medals we've ever won at an Olympics - 24!!!! That's third best amongst nations, and only one behind the US (which has 10 times our population)
Feb 20-A very exciting outing for the guys from Faze (who are starting their own magazine later this year by the way!) Karima Adebibe, the new official Lara Croft spokesmodel (of Tomb Raider fame) was in Toronto after recently winning the global role in a high profile search in London.

Feb 19-Aldo from Faze is heading over to check out the last week of the Olympics! Unfortunately, hockey fan that he is, Team Canada (men) have flunked out of the games but there will be lots of Canadians going for gold (and silver and bronze).
Feb 15-Final planning meetings for the spring cover photoshoot with Falcon Beach stars Steve Byers and Jennifer Kydd. Look out for special behind the scenes video footage online following the shoot!
Feb 14-Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Spread the love!
Feb 3-Ted and photographer Rob will be down at a Virgin Mobile event meeting with Canadian babe Pamela Anderson.

Feb 1-Welcome to Denise Wild, who is joining the Faze team as our Editorial Director. She'll team up with Faze founder Lorraine to take the magazine to new heights over the next 12 months and beyond. Denise was formerly a beloved editor over at Flare Magazine, where among many editorial roles she was well known for her sassy "Ask Miss Wild" column.

Jan 12-Faze was out checking out the best squash players in the world playing in Toronto. Currently, the no. 1 player in the world is bad boy Jonathan Power, a Canadian!!! Jonathan is hoping to win in front of his home crowd.
