International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2011 Weekend in T.O.

The 2011 International Indian Film Academy Awards Weekend in Toronto brought many of Bollywood’s biggest and brightest stars to the city where tens of thousands of fans welcomed them with open arms. There were film screenings, press conferences, fashion shows, a global business forum, a music workshop and oh yes, a spectacular awards show of epic proportions!

While all the stars were given a hefty dose of Canadian love, there was no matching the outpouring of emotion given to Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan, who helped host the 2011 IIFA Awards and made countless other appearances across the GTA. It was an extraordinary few days filled with fun and entertainment--masala style--which has undoubtedly left it's mark on the city, country and all Canadians who love a little Bollywood in their lives.
