Ladies, listen up. It is time to take a stand. We can no longer be the reason for our own demise.
How many times have you whispered behind your fellow female’s back? Are you one of those haters who spreads nasty rumours about a girl you can’t stand? Have you ever purposely flirted with another girl’s boyfriend? You know who you are. And you have to stop.
We are at a critical time where women are finally being heard. We are rising in rank and breaking glass ceilings. We have been to the moon, we are running for presidency, we are at the helm of some of the most powerful corporations inthe world. However, we are still outnumbered disproportionately in positions of significance by our male counterparts.
It is our duty to support each other as we strive to realize our full potential. We already have so many stresses in our lives (acne, our periods, exams) that we shouldn’t have to worry about backstabbing girlfriends or female bullies who should be protecting us, not threatening us. We need to stop being part of the problem and start helping each other achieve our dreams.
We have it within us to be great leaders. We are strong, determined, fierce, and more than capable of achieving amazing things. But we have to stand by each other as we struggle to make our dreams come true.
So the next time you see a fellow sister bringing down another fellow sister, don’t just stand there and watch. Speak up and make things right so we can all fulfill our goals and accomplish historic feats.
Let’s change our world for the better.
