Paula DeAnda Will Get You Dancing

Paula DeAnda, a young Latina artist who is mixing all her favourite sounds into an album that gets you on the dance floor.

Paula DeAnda

Inspired by a diverse group of musicians from salsa queen Celia Cruz to hip hop’s Chris Brown, Canadian country crooner Shania Twain, and Latina star Selena, 16 year old Paula DeAnda co-wrote (with hip hop performer/producer and fellow Texan Baby Bash) her first single “Doing Too Much”. A fun dance song that features rap by Baby Bash, the song is a sweet mix of Latina, pop, R&B, and hip hop rhythms.

After getting radio airplay on every station that mattered in the southwest US and landing a single on the Billboard charts, DeAnda was offered a record deal by music legend Clive Davis of Arista Records. (Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, Avril Lavigne, and Toni Braxton call Arista home, too.) DeAnda, a driven Scorpio worked with Frankie J, Ne-Yo, and Sean Garrett on her debut album, and is in talks to have a Spanish version of the album available soon.
