I could go see this film a million times although that is not why it is called “Million Dollar Baby” and you will get so much more from this film than what you are expecting. It is not just a film about a poor girl from the wrong side of the tracks and her seemingly impossible dream of becoming a world champion female boxer.

Hillary Swank is so compelling and inspirational that you find yourself rooting for her as if you were there ringside wanting her to kick butt. Clint Eastwood is incredibly touching as the crusty, tough trainer who seems so lost and alone until Hillary Swank storms into his life refusing to take no for an answer when he repeatedly turns her away.

It is a tough and beautiful film well worth seeing for anyone who believes in the power of dreams or who wants to believe that anything is possible if you believe in yourself.
