Enchanted

by Catelynne S, Brooklin, Ontario, Canada, Age 15

Like a star that once shone bright,

That took its place in the lonely night,

And fought her way to have what's right,

She is enchanted.

For the gleaming light she always brang,

And in the night, she always sang,

Up high there, with the stary gang,

She is enchanted.

But all stars, they must move on,

and take their place, until they're gone,

Doing rights, and flipping wrongs

To enchant us all

So like a star, when she goes,

Her light in the sky, it still shows,

and everyone, everywhere will know

That she was truly enchanted.
