My
Hero

Strong
both in body and in mind,
You conquer through everything.
Beneath the tough surface, I know you’re kind.
You sit on a red throne like a king.
Not
one pause during the day,
You fight for what’s valuable.
A powerful image you portray,
You sit like royalty at the table.
I picture
you soaring above the trees,
Using all sorts of magical powers.
I see you battling monsters and enemies;
Yet coming home with a bouquet of flowers.
A superhero
you seem to me,
Standing tall, muscular, and all-knowing.
However, you’re just my dad you see,
Maybe your secret identity you’re just not showing.
I hope
you will always be that hero,
That’s fighting battles for our family.
Just remember you’ll never be considered a zero,
No matter how angered we might be.
So
dream to your fullest potential,
And soar above all the other men.
Be strong, healthy, and influential;
Live your life like it just began.
