But
where has all the underwear gone?
by
Alexandra Smith, Los Angeles, CA, USA, Age 16
Land
of Hummers Mercedes and SUV's
Of Uggs and skirts and low cut jeans
Of cliques and friends in throngs and thongs
But please tell me, where has all the underwear gone?
Gloss
and shine, everything's fine!
Move out of the way bitch this is MY line
High heels aplenty, bags in hand
Caught up in a whirl of outlandish demands
Laughing
and swaying, twirling hair in grotesque glee
Like tigresses crouching, pouncing on man prey for certain fees
Guys strut, swimming in tees
Will someone tell them to work harder for us please?
And
last but not least at the end of the row
Stern faces frisk blondes with Chihuahuas in tow
Tiffany oh she's a pal
Diamonds smile for us happy California gals
And Bulgari stoops to allow a sneak peak
At endless zeros oh what a treat!
Rodeo Drive: where has all the underwear gone?
