Yes, Gigi Hadid killed it all night.
This year’s iHeartRadio MMVAs proved to be the hottest party in North America! From Nick Jonas’ killer performance in the crowd, to Gigi Hadid’s many stunning outfit changes throughout the night, and we can’t forget about that insane dance off between Superwoman and Amber Rose during Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ performance. And as someone who was amongst it all throughout the night, the energy backstage was just as infectious and exciting as it was on stage. I love fashion so I couldn’t help but stare and stare at all the gorgeous outfits everyone was wearing and so I had to break down my red carpet top favourites of the night.
10. Shawn Mendes
My fashion taste can embody polar opposites. Sometimes it’s all about simplicity, and other days it’s all about the statement necklaces and the bold colors. In this case, Shawn exemplifies what I love about simple fashion. He can wear this to school and then show up to a red carpet right after and still look like a star.
9. Ruth B
I am such a fan of the cape look lately. It makes any outfit chic and glamorous. And can we talk about how perfect this color looks on Ruth? The detailing on this gown is insane!
8. Maripier Morin
I love everything about this look: from the slit in the dress to the slicked-back hair, to the simple strappy heels. Everything about this screams, “This is MY red carpet now!”
7. Nick Jonas
Shout out to Nick Jonas for taking style risks! This look could have gone both ways however I’m leaning on the more positive side. I actually really adore the 3-toned jacket on the distressed jeans. Where can I get one of those?
6. Hailey Baldwin
Sparkle is my weakness! I could walk around in a full bedazzled outfit all day, which is why I love this entire ensemble. On top of everything, Hailey was owning the look! P.S. Possibly my favourite shoes of the night!
5. Lucy Hale
The asymmetry of this entire look is on point! I love the cut of this dress and the cut of her hair! Lucy definitely looks elegant and cute!
4. Fifth Harmony
These ladies owned the red carpet! Each outfit was so unique, yet so well coordinated all together! They came, they saw, they conquered the carpet!
3. Shemar Moore
Okay for those who know me, it’s no surprise that Shemar Moore ended up on this list. I am a huge fan of his, but to add to that, his style was on point at this year’s MMVAs. I am obsessed with the different tones of white. Shemar definitely never disappoints on the carpet.
2. Shay Mitchell and Ashley Benson
Former Faze cover girl, Shay Mitchell and Ashley Benson looked amazing! The silk looks so elegant and comfortable as well! Together they both look like powerful women.
1. Gigi Hadid
This was by far my fave overall look of the night. This look screams poise, power, and elegance! Gigi definitely knew how to let people know this was going to be her show! Some would say wearing red on a red carpet would drown you out, I say the opposite! A vibrant red outfit definitely makes a person stand out from the crowd.
